The versatile
freestanding Big
Berkey® system
holds up to 2.25 gallons (8.5 L) of purified water is an ideal system for use
at home with small or medium sized families, travel, outdoor activities or
during unexpected emergencies.
This powerful system
purifies both treated water and untreated surface water from such sources as remote
lakes, streams, stagnant ponds and water supplies in foreign countries, where
regulations may be substandard at best. Perfect for everyday use, outdoor
activities and a must in hostile environments where electricity, water pressure
or treated water may not be available.

removes greater than 99.999% of viruses and greater than 99.9999% of pathogenic
bacteria, while also removing or dramatically reducing protozoa, trihalomethanes,
inorganic minerals, heavy metals, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, VOCs, petroleum
products, perfluorinated chemicals, rust, silt, sediment and even radiologicals.
The system is so powerful
it can remove food coloring or tea tannin from water without removing the
beneficial minerals your body needs. Virtually no other system can duplicate
this performance.
Constructed of highly
polished 304 stainless steel, the system comes complete with two purification
elements and utilizes the latest technological advances. This system has a
storage capacity of about 2.25 gallons (8.5 liters) and when in use it stands
19.25" (48.9 cm) in height with a diameter of 8.5" (21.8 cm). The upper chamber nests within the
lower chamber for transport and stands only 13" (33 cm) in height. Shipping
weight is approximately 9 lb (4.1 kg.)
Configured with two
Black Berkey® purification elements the system will purify up to 3 1/2
Gallons (13.3 liters) per hour*. This system can be expanded to use four
purification elements for faster output and is capable of purifying up to 7 Gallons (26.5
liters) per hour*.

rate calculated with upper chamber full to top. Flow rate decreases as water
level declines
Warranty
The manufacturer, New Millennium Concepts, Ltd., warrants this product to
be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 6 months
from date of purchase. Black Berkey purification elements have a two-year
prorated warranty calculated in six months intervals. New Millennium Concepts,
Ltd. will replace or repair any product that it deems is not properly
functioning during the stated warranty period.
