This is an excellent emergency
candle with a long burning, self supporting wick that provides light and heat.
It is bright, non-smoking and hot enough to heat water for soup, canned goods or
a hot drink. Each candle can contains one book of matches in a lidded container.
Under ideal conditions each candle
can burn over 50 hr. with a well-trimmed wick.
Each candle contains one packet
of book matches in a water-tight container.
A larger flame can be obtained by
rolling a tissue into a long role and pushing it down into the hot wax around
the outer edge of the can.
