Assembled and Tested Systems
NEC-compliant pre-assembled power systems include inverter
(s), AC enclosure inverter bypass, DC enclosure, inverter disconnect breaker and
shunt, all mounted to a back plate and wired. Charge controllers and battery
cables and displays are not included. Charge controllers, additional AC and DC
input and load breakers can be added at the time of pre-assembly or in the
field. Some options are listed below. Many other options are available.

FLEXware 500 Power System
The FLEXware
500-based system will satisfy most renewable energy applications with such as
residential, light commercial or rural electrification systems by supporting up
to two FX Series inverter/chargers and up to two MX charge controllers.
FLEXware 500 AC
and DC enclosures accommodate all the essential protective devices while
providing room for additional breakers and large cable connections. For added
versatility the FLEXware 500 based system can also be mounted vertically or
horizontally. A FLEXware 500 systems come with one Remote Temperature
Sensor (RTS), and IOB-D-120/240VAC and HUB4. Two-inverter systems also
come with a X-240**.
For ease of future
expandability we frequently implement a FLEXware 500 system with a single
Outback inverter. Most frequently expansion is not required for greater inverter
output but for more battery charge capacity within the system.

FLEXware 1000
Power System
The FLEXware
1000-based system can be utilized in applications with greater power
requirements such as large residential, commercial or mini-grid projects. The
FLEXware 1000 system architecture is capable of supporting up to four FX Series
inverter/chargers, four MX charge controllers, and all the required AC and DC
components and wiring.
FLEXware
1000 is easily expandable for large and complex systems. FLEXware 1000 AC and DC
enclosures accommodate all of the essential protective devices while still
providing room for additional breakers and large cable connections.

Included are
mounting provisions for three DC shunts, there is sufficient space for for the
inputs of multi-channel
amp-hour meters. In addition to the ability to be mounted horizontally,
for added versatility a FLEXware 1000-based system can also be mounted
vertically. FLEXware 1000 systems come with one RTS, and IOB-Q-120/240VAC, HUB10
and X-240**.

FLEXware MP
is a one piece, powder coated aluminum mounting plate for FW500 and FW1000
systems. The FW-MP make installation quick and easy by including all of the
necessary stainless steel hardware to mount both the AC and DC enclosures,
inverter/chargers and breakers. A single FW-MP accommodates a complete FLEXware
500 system. Two FW-MP
are required for a complete FLEXware 1000 system.
**The X-240 is a 4kVA rated
autoformer which can be used to step up or step down 120VAC/240VAC. It is most
often used in the balancing configuration for stacked FX systems. In this way
loads on 2 legs can be balanced on the inverters.
